Music Infusion is current with Music Industry standards for all of our Terms & Conditions. These types of products (musical instruments, sound equipment, and items of this nature) require more specific procedures vs. what you might find with companies selling only textbooks, etc. With this in mind, we want you, our customer, to be informed with the latest helpful information that will assist you with your purchases, returns, accounting, etc.
The following Terms & Conditions apply to the use of this Web site as well as all transactions conducted via this site, mail, email, fax, or over the telephone.
WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED? We collect the information you give us when you place a phone order, when you complete your purchase via this Web site, when you submit information to us via our Contact Form, or subscribe to our E-Newsletter.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION? To process your transactions and for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested. To improve our website or customer service (based on comments/suggestions received from you). To be able to send you the necessary correspondence about your transaction, respond to inquiries, or fulfill your E-Newsletter request. After a purchase transaction is complete, your credit card number, expiration date, or security code) will not be stored on our servers or in any other electronic or non-electronic storage system.
DO WE DISCLOSE ANY INFORMATION TO OUTSIDE PARTIES? We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include any suppliers of ours who actually ship your product directly from their warehouse to expedite shipping time; who, therefore, receive only the information necessary to ship your product via UPS, FedEx, or USPS (i.e.: your name, address & contact phone in case the driver is unable to make his/her delivery). We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with law enforcement agencies or other collection enforcement agencies.
Payment ProcessingYou may purchase merchandise from this Website or by calling us directly. (See our "Contact" page for our Toll-Free number and hours.) We reserve the right to change payment procedures at any time without prior notice to you. WE ACCEPT MAJOR CREDIT CARDS: (VISA, MASTER CARD, DISCOVER, or AMERICAN EXPRESS). Your product will be confirmed available within our supplier's warehouse before we email your Invoice. You will then select “PAY NOW” on your Invoice and be connected via a secure 256-bit SSL encrypted link to pay the amount due. (Charges will appear as “WPY Music Infusion” on your credit card account.) Once your payment is received, your product will ship. New Charter, School, College, University customers may apply for Net 30 Terms by submitting a Business Information Form / Application for Credit, which will be emailed to you from our office. After review, a determination will be made if you will be on Credit Card or Net 30/check payment terms. All checks are to be made payable to "Music Infusion". If a check payment is not received within 10 days after the Invoice due date, you will be expected to pay by credit card for the total amount due on the invoice plus any credit card processing fee. A check returned for insufficient funds for any reason will be charged a $25.00 processing fee. Music Infusion reserves the right to revoke any Net 30 Terms privileges, as well as terminating any future purchasing transactions with individual customers or organizations due to late payment, non-payment, or insufficient funds. If Music Infusion commences any action to collect amounts due on your account, you will indemnify and hold Music Infusion harmless from all expenses incurred in collection therewith, including attorney's fees.
Shipping and Delivery
SHIPPING DESTINATIONS: At this time, Music Infusion ships merchandise to locations within the contiguous United States only.
SHIPPING CARRIERS: Standard shipments will normally be sent via UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, or USPS Mail.
SHIPMENT TIMES AND EXPEDITED SHIPPING: Items in stock, typically ship out same day or within 3-7 business days depending upon the product and the professional setup involved. If you are needing expedited shipping, please CALL IN your order at 800-507-0387 to discuss your needs and obtain your expedited rate.
DAMAGES AND LOSSES: All shipments are inspected prior to shipping from our various supplier warehouses and are shipped directly to our customers using reputable/proven shippers (such as Fed Ex, UPS, or USPS). As with any shipment, there can be unforeseeable occurrences during the transit process. Since the risk of loss and title passes to you when any merchandise is handed over to a shipping carrier - Music Infusion and our product company suppliers cannot accept responsibility for merchandise that is lost or damaged during the transit process.
Music Infusion is pleased to offer a 14-day time period to complete any "pre-authorized" product returns. (i.e.: Products must be received back into the facilities that we specify on or before the 14th day. Please contact Music Infusion at 800-507-0387 to request a Return Authorization. Upon approval, you will be issued a Return Authorization Number as well as specific instructions to prepare and return your item(s). All returns without proper authorization cannot be accepted and will be refused. No returned goods are accepted freight collect. Prepaid shipping will be provided and arranged for incorrect (our supplier's/shipper's error) or for defective regular stock items only. Some "Special Order" items not featured on our MusicInfusion.net website may not be returnable. Your Music Infusion Representative will let you know at the time of your order if any special circumstances are involved for your "Special Order" item(s) so that you can feel comfortable proceeding with your request.
RETURN PROCEDURE FOR A NEW/FUNCTIONING ITEM: As with any return, you must request to receive authorization from Music Infusion for your return and obtain a "Return Authorization Number" and the specific instructions for your particular return. Returned products must be returned "AS NEW". Merchandise must be returned undamaged in any original manufacturer's box and packaging (no ripped or torn packaging). You are responsible for merchandise until it safely reaches us. We are not responsible if your return merchandise gets lost. Do NOT use the US Postal Service for any returns. We recommend (unless otherwise instructed) UPS Ground or Fed Ex Ground. Please be sure that your items are INSURED for the FULL retail value and KEEP your Shipping/Tracking Number Paperwork. Returns lost during shipping may not be credited unless a tracking number is available. Approval for full refund based on condition of returned item(s) is subject to final determination by Music Infusion &/or our product suppliers.
DEFECTIVE GOODS: Music Infusion strives to carry only top, brand-name products. It is a rare occurrence that any item be delivered "defective". But, in case the unforeseen should occur, defective goods will be repaired or exchanged as warranted by the specific manufacturer or authorized distributor. A detailed description of the defect (and, in some cases, photos) will be required for all defective items. A "Return Authorization" may be required for certain situations.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS: As a general rule, items sold on the Music Infusion web site are "new". But, there may be a rare occasion when a "used" item will be posted. These items will be clearly marked "USED". All sales are final on any "used" items (no returns, exchanges, or refunds). Any manufacturer's warranty will no longer be in effect for items sold as "used", since warranties are only applicable to the original owner of the product and are non-transferable. Also, due to legal, copyright, and health restrictions, certain items (such as mouthpieces, reeds, ear buds, chin rests, instructional DVDs, CDs, sheet music, songbooks, theory books, and opened strings) are non-returnable.
RESTOCKING/HANDLING FEES: Non-defective returns, as well as cancelled orders (that have already been shipped) may be subject to a 15-20% Restocking/Handling Fee (depending on the product). A "Return Authorization" must also be requested for these types of returns.
